Aida Salili

Risk Analyst

Introducing Aida—an individual whose journey seamlessly spans astrophysics, humanitarianism, and analytical acumen.

As a Risk Analyst at the Centre, Aida works across the Advisory team’s projects from disentangling intricacies in value-for-money assessments to conducting sovereign-level risk diagnostics. She is committed to providing insightful analyses and is pursuing qualifications from Imperial College Business School.

Aida studied astrophysics at Queen Mary University of London, where she gained experience with programming challenges and simulations, using simulations to analyse small-scale challenges to the Lambda-Cold Dark Matter model. Before working at the Centre, Aida worked as a Cultural Mediator, providing invaluable support to Middle Eastern refugees, championing Women's Rights, and aiding survivors of domestic abuse within the UK system.

Aida inspires the next generation of scientists by guiding local school students in critical thinking and advocating for the decolonisation of scientific history. She's also an active participant in North London's football community, seeking to “Bend it like Beckham”.
