Joanne Meusz
Lead Risk Finance Adviser – Training
Joanne has worked for 20 years as an actuary in both the public and private sectors. She started as a teacher and has developed and delivered training throughout her career and now leads the Centre’s training service.
Joanne joined the Centre from the UK Government Actuary’s Department, where she advised a range of public sector clients, including the Centre. In 2020, she was seconded to the Centre for 18 months, where she co-led the Centre’s training service and worked across the Centre’s functions. Previously, Joanne spent many years in the Government Actuary’s Department’s Research and Technical team, providing technical and professional support to her client-facing colleagues. She has used this expertise to develop quality principles and processes for the Centre’s Advisory Function.
Joanne is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
