Arunma Oteh
Academic Scholar at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford – Co-Chair
Arunma Oteh has been an academic scholar at St. Antony’s College and an Executive-in-Residence at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, since January 2019. Her research areas focus on capital markets, economic development, and financial technology. She is also a member of the London Stock Exchange Africa Advisory Group. She is a seasoned financial leader who served as Vice President and Treasurer at the World Bank from 2015 to 2018, and as Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Nigeria from 2010 to 2015, also contributing to Nigeria's Economic Management team. Prior to her role in the SEC she spent 17 years at the African Development Bank, in roles including Group Vice President of Corporate Services and Group Treasurer. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a First Class Honors Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Her board memberships include significant roles with the International Organization of Securities Commissions and the International Financing Facility for Immunization, among others.
